Josh Wolf Talks

Today's episode of VlogTV features San Francisco-based videoblogger/journalist, Josh Wolf, who was recently jailed for refusing to turn over his videotape of a protest. Interviewed at MNN's studio by Ivettza Sanchez, Josh was in town briefly to meet with attorneys concerning his defense. (As of this writing, Josh has been put back in jail.)

To learn more about Josh and his case, check out his blog, The Revolution Will Be Televised.

Ivettza will also be talking to Shawn Van Every and Dan Melinger of Snippet TV, who were on hand for our NODE101 Weekend celebration last month.

Welcome To VlogTV

VlogTV is an exciting new show on Manhattan Neighborhood Network that brings the amazing world of videoblogging to its cable viewers who may not watch videos on the Internet. This is a chance for producers to broaden their audience, merging the worlds of internet and cable TV!

The new season of VlogTV begins airing live tomorrow, September 12, on MNN at 6pm EST on Channel 34, and can be seen every second and fourth Tuesday of the month. Our guest this week will be videoblogger and filmmaker, Chuck Olsen, who'll be calling in from his home in Minnesota to talk about his film, Blogumentary, which recently premiered at The Pioneer Theater in NYC, and his videoblog, Minnesota Stories.

(Click here to check out the trailer from Blogumentary.)

If you'd like to talk to Chuck on the air, just email us at vlogtv@mnn.org during the show. You can also contact us if you'd like to have your videoblog featured on the program.

VlogTV can also be seen online through MNN's video stream at mnn.org.
